Arbella Insurance Names Liz Kim as the Newest Member of its Board of Directors

October 8, 2021 by AC Editor

The Arbella Insurance Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Kim as the newest member of its Board of Directors. She will be joining Chairman, John F. Donohue and Vice Chairman, Francis X. Bellotti in her new advisory role.

“We are honored to have Liz continue her journey with Arbella,” said Donohue. “She has been a strategic team member in the Arbella family for many years and she represents our values to the core. We are excited to continue relying on her expertise and knowledge of the industry and our business. We have no doubt that her passion for people, relationships and Arbella will shine through her counsel as a Board member.”

This is a natural transition for Ms. Kim, who retired from Arbella’s Claim department in June 2020 after 32 years with the company. During her tenure at Arbella, she oversaw a variety of departments in the Claim organization. One of her most impressive accomplishments was building Arbella’s Claim Service Center from the ground up in 2007. Since then, she worked to make it the world-class claim service provider that it is today. While in her role as Assistant Vice President, Ms. Kim provided stability, employee guidance and coaching, and built strong relationships with Arbella’s independent agents and colleagues.

“Liz has always been a consummate claim professional as well as a long-time Arbella champion and cultural leader,” Donohue added. “Her experience and history working in the insurance industry puts her in a great position to provide meaningful input to continue driving Arbella’s business forward.”

Ms. Kim holds a BA from Boston University and currently resides in Scituate, MA. Passionate about volunteerism, she also serves on the Board at Father Bill’s and MainSpring, a regional leader of services to prevent and end homelessness.
