Growth continues at Duffy Insurance with Addition of the DeAngelis Trinity Insurance Agency

This is the agency’s second acquisition announcement in the past month

Duffy Insurance Agency announces another agency addition. The DeAngelis Trinity Insurance Agency of Framingham, MA has become the newest addition of the growing Duffy Family of Insurance Agencies.

According to the terms of the agreement, the DeAngelis Trinity Insurance Agency, led by Elizabeth “Betty” Dalton, will merge into the Duffy Insurance Chelmsford Office. No further terms of the agreement were disclosed.

Over seven decades serving Metrowest Boston

In 1955 Anthony DeAngelis purchased the Apex Insurance Agency in Framingham Massachusetts. Shortly thereafter Anthony changed the name to DeAngelis Insurance Agency. In the late 1960s, Anthony expanded the agency with his purchase of the Trinity Insurance Agency.

After working in the family business growing up, Elizabeth Dalton, Anthony’s daughter, formally joined the agency in 1979. Over the past five decades Elizabeth has worked in a variety of roles at the agency. And for the past 10- plus years she has owned/led DeAngelis Trinity. Elizabeth will join the Duffy Insurance Team on a full-time basis where she will continue to service her loyal following of customers.

Michael Wendling of the New England Search Group represented DeAngelis Trinity as the seller’s broker in this purchase/sale.

The Growing List of Duffy’s Family of Insurance Agencies

Founded in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1996 by the late Paul Duffy and currently led by Paul’s son Marc Duffy, Duffy Insurance Agency is a family insurance agency that services personal and commercial insurance customers throughout Massachusetts.
