Arbella Promotes Paul Brady and Bob Bizak to Executive Vice Presidents

January 11, 2024 by AC Editor

The Arbella Insurance Group is pleased to announce the following promotions:

Bob Bizak

Bob Bizak has been appointed to Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Bizak joined Arbella in July 2019 and has successfully led the company’s Sales & Marketing efforts through the impact of the Pandemic and the numerous agency mergers and acquisitions that have reshaped the Property and Casualty (P&C) landscape. Bizak is an advocate for independent agents and has built lasting relationships across Arbella’s business footprint in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and in Connecticut where Arbella has expanded by appointing personal lines independent agents, adding to our established commercial presence.

Bizak is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of industry leadership. Prior to joining Arbella, he worked for 18 successful years as a partner with Rogers & Gray Insurance Agency where his primary focus was on growing their commercial insurance division and leading agency acquisition and growth initiatives.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the Sawyer Business School of Suffolk University, he began his industry career with Wausau Insurance Company.

Bizak will continue to report to Gayle O’Connell, Arbella’s Chief Marketing Officer.

“We are very lucky to have someone with Bob’s background and experience who is a strong agent partner and advocate. In this challenging market, it is critical to have such a respected leader building and fostering agency relationships. Bob does that with energy and sincerity,” said O’Connell.

Paul Brady

Paul Brady has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Head of Claim, continuing to report to Janet Corcoran, Arbella’s Chief Operating Officer.

Brady boasts 20+ years of P&C industry experience and was hired into Arbella’s Technology Department in 2010 as Assistant Vice President of Technology. He was promoted to the position of Chief Information Officer just two years later in 2012. In 2015, Brady was recognized by the Boston Business Journal as CIO of the Year citing his ability to build a highly-engaged organization that delivers critical technology needs to achieve business goals.

Brady soon took on the oversight of facilities and real estate management, and in 2021, his role was further expanded to include Operations and Contact Centers. Due to his broad technical knowledge, service orientation and employee engagement focus, he was asked to lead Arbella’s Claim Organization with over 300 employees as the Head of Claim in October 2022.

Prior to Arbella, Brady served over 10 years at Liberty Mutual in a variety of technology and leadership roles. He is a graduate of Bentley University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in computer information systems.

“Paul is an outstanding executive with deep industry knowledge and is particularly experienced with data and process improvements. He connects quickly with people and is an excellent leader. His promotion is well deserved,” said Corcoran.
