Kaplansky Insurance, a leading independent insurance agency, is proud to announce the promotion of Michelle Connors to Regional Manager, overseeing the Orleans and Truro branches.
Michelle brings a remarkable 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, beginning her career in 1987 at Drake Swan & Crocker, a prominent insurance agency in Orleans. During her tenure there, she earned her CISR designation and showcased her ability to adapt and lead by managing the agency’s Processing Department while raising her family.
In 2001, Michelle briefly stepped away from insurance to support her husband’s business but quickly returned to the field, recognizing her passion for the industry. She then spent many years as an Office Manager at a small insurance agency in Eastham, where she honed her operational expertise and client service skills.
In September 2022, Michelle joined Kaplansky Insurance as the Branch Manager of the Truro office. Her leadership and commitment to clients and colleagues were instrumental in the branch’s success. Her dedication led to her promotion in October 2024 to Regional Manager, where she now oversees operations at both the Truro and Orleans branches.
