Founded the Rudy Christian Insurance Agency

Rudolph Christian was born on January 4, 1947, on the beautiful Caribbean island of Antigua. He was the son of Walton Christian and his beloved mother, Eleanora Benjamin. When his mother migrated to the Virgin Islands, he was lovingly cared for by his aunts, Irene and Meazet. His youthful years were filled with cricket, fishing, and the lighthearted mischief he shared with close friends. He was a devoted member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church where he sang in the choir as a young man. He graduated from Pilgrim High School and went on to pursue his ambitions.
In 1970, Rudolph, affectionately known as Joe, relocated to Boston Massachusetts to marry Janet. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Sean and Keisha. In 1978, the family moved to Marshfield, a quiet town providing them a more peaceful life. Several years later, he welcomed a second daughter, Meichelle.
Rudolph was devoted to creating a fulfilling life for his family and pursued a career in the insurance industry. He later founded the Rudy Christian Insurance Agency, which he built with dedication and integrity. After a long and successful career, he transitioned into retirement, entrusting a great portion of his business to a valued colleague, while retaining a modest share.
He was known for his infectious smile, joyful laughter, and charismatic spirit attracting many friends and acquaintances. He found great joy in cooking, golfing, and tending to his garden.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Janet Christian, daughter Keisha Christian Nichols and husband Jeffrey, daughter Michelle Ferguson, daughter in law Stephanie Palmer Christian, grandson Sean Rudolph Christian II, and great grandson Sean Rudolph Christian III, siblings Allison and Daphne of New York and Natali, Karen, and Walton of Antigua, sister in law Esther Richards, brother in law Noel Richards and wife Kathleen, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, two godsons, and many friends.
