Big “I” Launches New TrustedChoice.com Agency Locator For Member Agencies

June 8, 2026 by Owen Gallagher

New Locator Connects Online Insurance Shoppers With Independent Agents

The Big “I” has launched a new TrustedChoice.com agency locator designed to help consumers find and connect with local independent insurance agents. Available to all Big “I” member agencies, the new independent agency business listing on the site is included with an agency’s Big “I” membership.

The Big “I” said it now fully manages TrustedChoice.com, and all member agencies are automatically searchable on the site. Consumers can search by coverage need and location, allowing them to find and contact a Big “I” member agency when they are actively shopping for insurance.

The association said the platform is intended to connect online insurance searches with independent agents who can provide coverage guidance and turn consumer interest into business.

“The current market underscores the critical role independent agents play in advising businesses and families,” said Charles Symington, Big “I” president & CEO. “Customers search online to find coverage, and our agencies must be visible and prominent across those channels. This is not a paid subscription service. Our new version of TrustedChoice.com is provided to Big ‘I’ members at no additional cost and connects them with consumers.”

Big “I” To Operate TrustedChoice.com As Member Benefit

The launch marks the final phase of last year’s divestiture of other TrustedChoice.com assets by the Big “I” to Momentum AMP.

Going forward, the Big “I” will operate TrustedChoice.com as a consumer agency locator and member benefit. Momentum AMP operates a separate subscription-based lead generation service that is not affiliated with the Big “I” or Trusted Choice, according to the release. Agencies with paid subscriptions through Momentum AMP may continue to be serviced by that company.

“Our agency locator provides well-established organic web traffic to Big ‘I’ member agencies,” said Kevin Brandt, executive director of Trusted Choice. “Thousands of insurance shoppers visit TrustedChoice.com every month looking for help with their insurance needs, and agencies can maintain an updated, streamlined profile on the agency locator to maximize their visibility to insurance shoppers and generate new business.”

About The Big “I”

Big “I” members are independent insurance advisers who offer consumers property, casualty, life, health, employee benefit plans and retirement products from a choice of insurance companies.
