
Worcester’s Feingold & Feingold amongst the five agencies acquired
HAMPTON, N.H.—Sequel Insurance Agencies, a Hampton, New Hampshire-based insurance platform affiliated with SIAA, announced June 30 that it has acquired five independent insurance agencies as part of its strategy to expand its national footprint. Amongst the five agencies acquired were two New England-based agencies: Worcester-based Feingold & Feingold Insurance Agency, Inc. and Vermont’s 123 Insurance, Inc.
The acquisitions also include agencies in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and New York, extending Sequel’s presence across additional regional markets while adding to its existing network of agencies in Montana, Colorado, and Michigan.
According to Sequel, the platform now represents more than $550 million in premiums.
Worcester agency joins five-agency expansion
Among the newly acquired agencies is Feingold & Feingold Insurance Agency, Inc., of Worcester, which provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance along with employee benefits.

Sequel continues acquisition strategy
John Stanzi, Sequel’s chief executive officer, said the acquisitions reflect the organization’s continuing growth strategy.
“This growth is just the beginning for Sequel Insurance Agencies,” said CEO John Stanzi. “Our agency partners see the value of joining a people-first organization that prioritizes local relationships while providing the innovation, resources, and scale needed to provide comprehensive client service.”
Stanzi also said Sequel’s merger-and-acquisition strategy emphasizes selectively acquiring established independent agencies.
According to the company, the five acquisitions expand Sequel’s geographic footprint while adding agencies with established regional relationships that complement the organization’s existing operations.
Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.
Sequel’s relationship with SIAA
Sequel Insurance Agencies is a key component of SIAA’s Intelligent Distribution Platform and serves as a perpetuation partner for members of SIAA – The Agent Alliance, the Hampton, New Hampshire-based insurance alliance.
According to SIAA, the alliance includes more than 5,200 independent agency members that collectively write more than $18 billion in premiums. The organization describes itself as the nation’s largest alliance of independent insurance agencies.
Sequel said its affiliated agencies collectively operate under the Sequel Insurance Agencies brand while remaining separately licensed insurance agencies offering property and casualty insurance products and services in multiple states.
