Massachusetts Insurance Federation Announces New Executive Director

The Massachusetts Insurance Federation (“Federation”) recently announced that Christopher S. Stark will become its new Executive Director on January 1, 2021. 

Mr. Stark currently serves as the Regional Vice President – Northeast Regional for the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and previously worked for the Insurance Council of New Jersey. He succeeds John P. Murphy who is retiring at the end of 2020 after leading the Federation since 2015. 

The Federation is the leading advocate of the property and casualty insurance industry in Massachusetts. Its member insurance companies range from large global carriers to small regional companies and they collectively write approximately two-thirds of the total property and casualty insurance business in the Commonwealth.
