XS Brokers’ Asst. Vice President Sean Powers will head its new Worcester office.

This is the second office expansion for XS Brokers during the past six months

XS Brokers has announced the opening of its newest office location in Worcester. This marks the second office expansion for the Quincy-based wholesale & MGA brokerage firm in the past six months. In addition to its Quincy headquarters, the company now boasts a total of four office locations on the East Coast, with offices in West Hartford, CT, Philadelphia, PA and Worcester. The new Western Massachusetts location will be managed by Assistant Vice President Sean Power.

The company says that the growing demand for its services in Western Massachusetts and central New England was the impetus behind its decision to open the Worcester location.

“We are thrilled to be opening a local presence in Worcester under the leadership of Sean Power from within our organization,” stated Adam Devine, CEO. “There is a tremendous amount of growth opportunity in this region. We look forward to servicing our existing retail agency clients as well as new ones in this region.

The company is also looking to hire new employees for the office location

The company says that it intentionally chose its new office with substantial space in order to accommodate both the growth in employees and business that it envisions in this geographic area. “We have always invested back in our company, from hiring and retaining the best talent in the industry, to our office space and cutting edge technological capabilities,” said Devine adding, “We have already made a few key hires for this office and look to attract further professional talent to our organization”. Ultimately, the firm plans to hire between 5-10 people for the Worcester office.

“I’m excited to lead the initiative for further growth at our new office providing superior service to local agents,” added Sean Power, AVP emphasizing that “This location demonstrates our commitment to Worcester and the surrounding areas.”

2016 was XS Brokers’ best year yet

As in 2015, the year 2016 was an impressive one for XS Brokers. The firm, which has been in operation for almost 40 years, recorded the highest gross written premium writings in its history. In addition to that, the company also placed a record amount of new business for calendar year 2016 as well as adding 14 new associates to its ranks. As for 2017, the wholesale & MGA brokerage firm says it is already on track for another record year and if all the indicators prove right, this year could even surpass the brokerage firms 2016 achievements.
