Toyota Insurance Management Solutions establishes its national headquarters in Plano, Texas
Toyota Insurance Management Solutions (TIMS), the car company’s own exclusive independent insurance agency move its operations into the next level with the opening its first “brick and mortar” location in Plano Texas. The location with serve as both the agency’s first official office space and national headquarters for its growing insurance business. Our readers may remember that Cambridge-based Insurify recently announced a new partnership with TIMS.
Guests attending the office opening included TIMS executive leadership, as well as Plano’s Mayor Harry LaRosiliere, who cut the ceremonial red ribbon.
“The opening of TIMS’ first dedicated office is such an exciting landmark in our journey – one that reflects the tremendous growth we’ve achieved in our first five years,” said Robert Spencer, VP, Finance and Administration. “There are certainly many benefits to operating like a start-up. But even as we embrace virtual work, it is also beneficial to have our own space to come together for collaboration when appropriate.”

TIMS officially launched in 2016
Launched as an independent insurance agency in 2016, Toyota’s exclusive independent insurance agency has been created with the sole purpose of providing Toyota customers with “…a seamless way to compare and buy car insurance policies online, and find their best usage-based insurance options using data-driven recommendations and a personalized purchase experience.” In addition to providing auto insurance, the agency also offers potential insureds an array of additional coverages including home, renters, recreational vehicle, and even pet insurance.
