Partners Insurance Group Announces Name Change to BayCoast Insurance™

January 13, 2023 by AC Editor

A major announcement from one of the South Coast’s leading independent insurance agencies. Partners Insurance Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of BayCoast Bank, is changing its name to BayCoast Insurance™.

This exciting re-branding embraces the strong reputation and recognition the BayCoast name has established and continues to build within the communities it serves.

“Now is the time,” said Patrick D. Long, President and CEO of Partners Insurance Group. “For more than a decade, the BayCoast name has grown to become one of the area’s most recognizable brands. As BayCoast continues to grow and thrive, so too has Partners. With our aligned mission, culture, vision and values, changing our name to BayCoast Insurance simply makes sense.”

For more than two decades, Partners Insurance Group has been providing high-quality insurance products and customized service and guidance for its customers. The agencies and families that preceded what is now BayCoast Insurance are representative of generational relationships built on trust and performance.

“We are proud of those who came before us and the reputations that they have built within the communities we serve,” said Long.  “We are honored to carry on that commitment of exceptional service.”

Over the past 22 years, the agency has experienced exciting growth, expanding to nine locations with the recent addition of Hadley Insurit Group of Fall River, known for its long history of industry excellence and customer satisfaction.

Long said BayCoast Insurance is proud to continue providing high-quality insurance products and personalized service that customers have come to expect.

“We’re still the same insurance agency, with the same great people,” noted Long. “Being a wholly owned subsidiary of BayCoast Bank, our new name better reflects our connection with the BayCoast brand and its family of exceptional services. Our customers will benefit from the convenience of having access to these financial solutions, all under the BayCoast name.”

BayCoast Bank is a long-standing community savings bank, supporting the people and businesses on the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In 2012, the Bank experienced its own name change from Citizens-Union Savings Bank to BayCoast Bank, re-shaping and strengthening its presence on the South Coast.

Nicholas M. Christ, President and CEO of BayCoast Bank, commented, “Partners Insurance Group has been an important part of the BayCoast family of services for over twenty years. The name change to BayCoast Insurance solidifies this.”
