QUINCY, Mass., (October 12, 2021) – The Arbella Insurance Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Candice Lohmeier as Director of Claim. Reporting to Janet R. Corcoran, Executive Vice President and COO, Lohmeier will oversee the Springfield and Bridgewater claim offices and the Glass Claim unit, working out of Arbella’s Quincy location.
“We are very fortunate to add Candice to our leadership team,” said Corcoran. “She brings invaluable experience and insight, including a history in recruiting and employee coaching. She also has deep experience in many areas of Claim, including Property, Personal Auto, Commercial and General Liability. Candice has already hit the ground running.”
Lohmeier joins Arbella from Auto-Owners where, over her 14-year tenure, she assumed roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as a Regional Manager. In that role she led a large group of more than 100 professionals handling Michigan auto PIP claims. She also supported the claim department transition from handling Michigan’s unlimited lifetime medical benefits to a new state program that offers multiple additional customer PIP coverage options.
Candice holds a BA in International Business from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, IL. She has relocated to Quincy from Michigan with her husband and two young children.
