Hub Group Grows Its Presence In Massachusetts with Acquisition of Hingham´s The Spofford Group

Just about six weeks since its purchase of Woburn´s Tanna Insurance, Hub New England has announced another acquisition in Massachusetts. This time the company has acquired an agency on the South Shore with its acquisition of The Spofford Group Insurance Brokerage, Ltd. of Hingham.

According to the terms of the transaction, Rob Spofford, President, and the Spofford Group team will join Hub New England upon completion of the transaction. Mr. Spofford will take on a leadership role at Hub to deepen the practice in the East region and nationally. No further terms of the transaction were disclosed.
