A program administered by the Executive Office of Elder that provides to Massachusetts residents of any age who have Medicare free health insurance information, counseling and assistance. SHINE is an acronym for “Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone.”

DOI Issues A “Q&A” For The 55,000 Policyholders Affected By Long-Term Care Rate Increase Approvals Of Up To 40%
January 30, 2017 - As part of its agreement with 16 long-term care carriers to allow rate increases, the DOI has published this "Q&A" for the approximately 55,000 policyholders affected by the rate increases.
