A New Milestone For Kaplansky: Its 45th Agency Acquisition

August 19, 2024 by AC Editor

Acquires Chicopee’s Brochu Insurance

Kaplansky Insurance, one of Massachusetts’ largest remaining independent agencies has reached a major milestone: its 45th agency acquisition. The Needham-based agency has announced that Brochu Insurance of Chicopee is now a part of Kaplansky Insurance.

With its latest acquisition, the agency says it has taken another significant step in its expansion strategy, enhancing its ability to serve clients throughout Massachusetts.

“We are excited to welcome the clients and team of Brochu Insurance to the Kaplansky Insurance family,” said Ely Kaplansky, President and CEO of Kaplansky Insurance. “This acquisition strengthens our presence in Western Massachusetts and allows us to continue providing exceptional service with a local touch.”

Founded in 1949, Brochu Insurance has been a trusted provider of comprehensive insurance solutions to the Chicopee community for decades. The agency has built a strong reputation for personalized service and deep local knowledge, values that align closely with those of Kaplansky Insurance.

According to the terms of the agreement, Kaplansky Insurance will retain Brochu Insurance’s existing location at 725 Grattan Street, Chicopee, Massachusetts. No further terms were disclosed.
